Natasha Buryka

Paris based public historian and Russian artist,  particularly attached to the communicating knowledge about contemporary challenges, and conflicting memories.

 Post-expressionist visual manner.

The aim of her art is to oppose to a global machine of international marketing by the means of emotionally engaged social criticism - that is why her scale varies from public posters to expressive sketches. The core of her technique is found on the crossroads of the globalized urban environment and the need to make art speak to every individual who must be emerged from the state of an ordinary customer to that of a citizen by the means of socially responsible art. That is how Natalia makes ordinary ink pen a weapon of daily struggle for human rights within local urban context in order to reveal and to nurture real self- conscious attitude towards our common future.
